THE WEEK!!!!

Well this week was a lot of fun and had a lot of learning experiences within it.  Before I tell you about my week.  How was your week?  How was the narrows?  That sounds like it would be a lot of fun.  I hope that the shooting course went really well and that everyone still has both eyes. #You'llshootyoureyeout. How is the end of school going?  Isn't this where it starts to get super busy?
This week was an interesting week.  We were suppose to have two baptisms.  Nadine was suppose to be baptized but a day before her baptism she backed out.  She is doing great though.  She didn't know if she could live up to the commitment.  She came to church yesterday and loved it again we are meeting with her tomorrow and hopefully she will be being baptized this weekend...  The other guy his name is Omar.  He is sweet.  I was just texting random people in my phone and texted him and he said he wanted to meet up.  We taught him and he already knew everything was true and was ready to be baptized.  The only thing was this week he slipped up and made some choices that kept him from that.  He's back on the band wagon though and wants to be baptized here pretty soon.  This work is going great in the Chippenham YSA ward though.  It is awesome!!!  Loving every second of it.  It's been really interesting working so closely with President Wilson.  He is such an amazing Priesthood leader and such a great example.  I love him to death.  We've been able to go on exchanges all around the mission it's been really cool. We were down by the North Carolina Border this week with some missionaries and had this cool experience.

Well know that I love you and pray for you daily.  One thing that I want you to study is the Principle of Agency.  It's been a huge blessing in my mission.  Always remember this one principle, "for there is God, and he hathcreated all things, both the heavens and the earth, and allthings that in them are, both things to act and things to beacted upon."  I love you mom and hope that you have a great week.  I know that this gospel is true and that my Savior lives I know that he loves us.  I know that there is a prophet here on this earth.  I know with all my heart that God loves his children and I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.  I love you!  With all my love from Virginia.

Family

Hey I'm on!!!

Wow it sounds like you are going to have a very busy next couple of weeks.  It was great to hear from you though.  It sounds like you are killing it in shooting.  That's pretty sweet!!!  Watch out Walker Texas Ranger is going to need you as his side kick.  You will have to tell me how Zions goes that sounds like it's going to be a lot of fun with all the family.  I thank you so much for all ways saying that if I need anything to just let you know.  I really am doing great.  The mission is the greatest thing in all my life.  It brings so many blessings and growing experiences I love it so much.  I thank my Heavenly Father every night for the opportunity that I have to be able to serve him on a daily bases.  There is nothing greater than waking up on the daily putting on the white shirt and the black name tag and knowing that you are going to serve the Lord.  It is absolutely amazing.  I would invite everyone to go on a mission and make sure that that is a focus for everyone, young or old.The miracle of this week would have to be a guy that we contacted over text. I was going through my phone and texting all the people that I didn't know in my phone. It was quiet a bit of people. I got a response back from this guy that wanted to meet up with us. We ended up setting up an appointment and sitting down with him. As we taught him it was very apparent that he knew what the church was all about. We thought well lets see if he is ready for baptism. We asked him the interview questions and he ended up teaching us the Restoration. It was amazing. The only thing that he was going to have to work on was smoking, we knew though that he could make it. We set him for baptism this week and committed him to quit smoking. We taught him again two day after that. He said that he was still smoking but it had gone down a lot. We told him the story of the Anti-Nephi-Lehi's and he thought that was the coolest thing ever. He then took out his cigarette pack and burned it. He said I am done with it all. He came to church this Sunday and was still smoke free. I know with all my heart that Jesus Christ helped him over come this. I know that the Gospel of Jesus Christ brings a power that is un-explainable into our lives to be able to shape and mold our selves into something that the Lord needs us to be. I know that my Redeemer lives and that he loves each and everyone of us. I know with all my heart that this gospel has been restored by the Prophet Joseph Smith and that this is the truth, there is no doubt in my mind. I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.  Your last lines of your e-mail this week are very interesting.  I think that as we grow and take on new things in our life that yes it may seem lonely but think of all the new blessings that you will be able to have in this new chapter of your life.  One thing that I know is that as we look forward to eternity we will always have to leave things behind some things may mean a lot to us and they may be hard to give up others may be things that we have been dying to get ride of but have not found the time nor the means to do so, but we must remember that it's not the ending of anything.  It truly is the beginning to something greater to coming closer to our Savior Jesus Christ and our Heavenly Father.  Always look to the light and I know that there will be joy found there.  I know that my Savior lives and that he loves us.  I know that this is the truth.  I love my Savior and I leave you with that in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.  I love you and hope that you have a great week.  With all my love from Virginia.

Rocks

H&M has rocking suits for only $78 it's sweet!   By the way I'm on.

How is everything going?  It sounds like you have had a very eventful week.  I bet you are going to do great with the shooting course.  I'm sure it will be a lot of fun.  It sounds like you are doing a lot of family stuff.  That is so cool to be able to spend family time.  I am so excited to be able to experience General Conference out here on a mission again.  It is the best thing in the whole world.  It's exciting to see what they will talk about.
This week we have been so blessed to be able to do so many great things.  We have two baptisms coming up this weekend.  It is going to be great to be able to see these two people enter into the waters of baptism.  We have seen so many great things this week with a lot of people looking to find the truth in there life.  It was so amazing to be able to see people accept the gospel into there lives.  This week I want to tell you about my studies.  I have been able to learn a lot about the Atonement and the purpose of this life.  As I was thinking this week I was thinking about the connection between our bodies and our spirits.  It is incredible to think about how we can use our bodies as a tool to be able to train our spirits or we can use our spirits to train our bodies.  We have a spirit body that has been created by a loving heavenly father with perfect attributes.  Our purpose here on this earth life is to get our body out of the way and let our spirits have complete power over our bodies.  It is when we do this that we can truly become like our Savior Jesus Christ.  The only way that we can do this is by partaking of the atonement and changing completely.  I know with all my hear that my Savior Jesus Christ lives and that he loves us.  I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the true church here on this earth.  I know with all my heart that the Atonement is real.  I love my Savior with all my heart in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.  I hope that you have a great week.  I love you!!! With all my love from Virginia.

Front Site

Hey I'm on
Sweet how is everything going?
Busy with school or what?? o and by the way I didn't get your e-mail.
Ok sounds good!  What are you busy with?
O Ok I got you!
Um if I find a steal of a deal on a suit could I buy it???  The two suits I came out with have Pit stains beyond Bit stains It's an 40XL Grande Taco.
No the pit stains in my old suit are a 40 XL tacos
MOTHER THAT IS MORE THAN ENOUGH!
yes I did.  And I got them dry cleaned around that same time and it did nothing for the suit.
ok thank you mom.  I am so sorry that you keep having to spend money on me.
You are the best mom in the whole world.
Mom it will only be about 100 it will be ok.

Well this week was a great week.  A week full of meetings and finding people to teach.  NOTHING BETTER!!!!  It's sounds like you have a pretty busy couple of weeks ahead of you.  It's so weird to hear you talk about the family and all the things that they are doing haha.  I guess I thought life would just take a time out but NOPE.  That is way sweet that you have your concealed weapons permit I did not know that you go it.  Are you able to carry your .22 in your school?  Thank you so much for your love and encouragement this past week.  It was much needed.  You are the greatest mom in the whole world.  We should be having two baptisms coming up here pretty soon.  Maybe one this week and then another next or both on next week.  There are so many prepared people here on the VCU campus it is the best.  The miracle of the week would have to be with one of our investigators. When we first contacted her she wasn't that interested in learning about the gospel. We were finding with a member though and that member helped her understand the gospel from his perspective which really struck her. She decided to meet with us and came very prepared with gospel questions. That lessons was amazing!! She has progressed so much all because of her member friend. He texts her and sets up rides for her to be able to get to church. They sit by each other. It is so amazing to see how much a member effects the work of salvation. It's just a testament to me that every member is a missionary. This work can and will go forward faster and more effectively as members and missionaries come together.  This week has been such a blessing to being able to learn and grow and be able to come closer to my Savior Jesus Christ.  I know with all my heart that he lives and that he loves each and everyone of us.  I know that this Gopel has been restored by God and that it occurred through the Prophet Joseph Smith.  I know that this will bring the greatest happiness to anyone who will simple take into there lives the principles of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  I love my Savior with all my heart and I know that he is there.  I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.  I love you all so much and I hope that you have a great week.  You all are amazing and you mean so much to me.  With all my love from Virginia.

Elder Thomas
He's from West Jordan Utah.  And no I'm an assistant to the President.
I wrote it in my e-mail.  and yes we work in the office but for the most part we still teach people.
HAHA you are a funny one.  o I forgot to tell you only one person got baptized last week.  Her name was amani Hubbard.  I will have to send you a pic.
No only one the other two were former investigators.

It sounds like you had an exciting week.  That is sweet that you will be able to go to Front Site.  That will be a really sweet experience for you.  That is also way cool about Arista.  She is an awesome missionary.  And good job on baring your testimony that is way sweet.  My question is where is Dad in all of this?   I don't think I can remember when the last time was that you got up to bare you testimony... What just saying.  This week was an exciting week for me as well.  I was transferred to down town Richmond.  This place is the hood.  My companion and I work on the VCU campus.  It's really sweet.  Probably one of the greatest experiences that I've had.  I was also called to be the Assistant to the President...  It's a super humbling experience and has me freaked out of my mind.  It's sweet though to be able to work on the YSA Campus.  We saw a lot of miracles this week. We were contacting and we met this really prepared young lady. We were able to set up an appointment with her at the Grace St building. When we started teaching her she told us that she had a lot of questions about the church. We were expecting the weird questions but all of her questions were spot on!!! Her first one was, "What happens to us after we die?" We were able to have a great lesson about the Plan of Salvation and it was the best. The spirit was so strong and she accepted a baptismal date. Everyone in this world NEEDS the gospel of Jesus Christ. I know that it is the way that we can find happiness and peace in this world and in the world to come. I know with all my heart that He lives and loves each and everyone of us. I know that Joseph Smith was a prophet and that he restored Gods church here to this earth. I love my Savior and I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.  It is such a blessing to be in the service of God on a daily basis.  I love it so much and you are able to see so many miracles that come because God loves all of his Children.  He is constantly look out for all of us and wants us all to be able to find peace and happiness in this life and in the life to come.  I love you all and hope that you have a great day and a great week.  If there is anything that I can do for you please let me know and I will try my best to do it.  I love you and have a great week!!!  With all my love from Virginia.
